The Global Art Teachers Exchange (GATE) was formed in 2018 as an avenue to provide relevant, practical, and affordable professional development specifically for visual arts educators. Each year, a different school hosts this independently organized and funded event with the aim of learning and talking about what we love... making and teaching art. It is strictly non-profit. Our ethos is all about learning through collaboration and contribution. The success of the exchange depends on 100% participation of the attendees. Those who register will come as instructors and/or engage in the sharing of best practices, art-making, and discussions. Workshops are designed to be practical, hands-on, and with direct application to the art room from PreK through High School.

A massive music and arts festival where 20 artists took up the challenge to create an artwork in 2 hours and then exchange it halfway through so a second artist could finish it. This was an amazing creative experience developed along with ISZAF and Absolute Music School.
